Alphawood Scholarship are offered for taught courses or research courses conducted in the SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies) University of London. This scholarships awarded for candidates intending to help the Buddhist & Hindu art preservation and advancement through teaching, a further study or another activities in their region.

This Alphawood Scholarship will provide a full coverage for tuition fees, and maintenance allowance to the costs for living & studying in London including for flights to and from UK. The closing date for application is 18th December 2015.

This scholarship is awarded for pursue a Postgraduate Courses (Postgraduate Diploma, Certificate, Master’s) or Research Degrees (MPhil/PhD) in SOAS, University of London. (Please visit the official webpage for specified list of programs available).

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicant should:

Be reside in one of the mentioned countries, or if they can show their intention to return to their region for teaching or any further study, or intend to give positive impact to the Southeast Asian region.
Demonstrate an interest to the Southeast Asian art, (particularly Buddhist/Hindu art), an intention for teaching, a further study or a positive impact to the Southeast Asian art preservation/advancement. Please include the evidence of this term at personal statement when apply for this scholarship.
For MA applicants: write the dissertation on a theme related to Southeast Asian art.

This Alphawood Scholarship will provide a full coverage for tuition fees, Visa costs, and maintenance allowance to the costs for living & studying in London including for flights to and from UK.
