Students from all over African countries are invited to apply for 2017/18 Vice Chancellor’s Scholarships in the administrative city of South Africa, Pretoria. The VC’s scholarships aims at providing financial assistance to African Students to undertake their studies at University of Pretoria.
The programme enables postdoctoral fellows to build their academic careers by participating in the University’s areas of research strength and strategic priorities.
The University of Pretoria is a multi-campus public research university in Pretoria, the administrative and de facto capital of South Africa. Application deadline is 31st July 2017.
Eligible Field of Study: biological sciences, data sciences, economics and business sciences, energy, engineering, food security, genomics, health sciences, humanities and social sciences, and sustainable development.

The following are required during application:
- a comprehensive curriculum vitae
- a letter of motivation (2 pages) describing their research achievements and expertise, and their objectives related to the postdoctoral fellowship.
- two letters of reference that can attest to the candidate’s academic and research interests (e.g. the candidate’s doctoral supervisor)
