Are You Eligible To Apply For The SEMA PhD Scholarships in Mathematical Biology For International Students?
To be eligible for the scholarship award, applicants must meet the following requirements;
- Applicants must have a Master degree or equivalent in mathematics or a subject with a strong mathematical component (e.g. physics, bio-physics, bio-mathematics, engineering, and computer science), skills in programming and have experience and/or demonstrate a strong interest for developmental biology and experimentation in biology.
- Normally, an undergraduate and MSc in Mathematics with an excellent command of mathematical analysis (especially desirable if knowledge on partial differential equations); good knowledge, experience and a taste for programming and numerical simulations; willingness to work in teams that include biologists. Knowledge on kinetic theory is not required (it will be learned during the PhD).
- Applicants whose first language is not English must provide evidence of proficiency in English language.
